SPORK Butterfly Math & Science - A

Students get familiar with numbers 1-100, identify each number, compare the numbers, and fill in missing numbers in a sequence. They will understand the concepts of addition and subtraction. They will also be introduced to practical skills such as reading clocks and identifying coins and bills. They will identify a half, third, quarter, and eighth of a shape.

In science, they will identify animals and plants and group them by their basic characteristics. They will identify basic landforms and planets in our solar system. They will be introduced to selected systems of the human body.
